I’m New

If you are new to Fellowship of the Rockies or are considering joining us for a service, we hope you will feel welcomed and at home… even if you’ve never been to church before. Our desire is for you to discover a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ while being embraced by a community of believers.

We believe this happens best as you Connect with Christ daily and other church family members regularly, as you Commit to Christ and His local church family, and as you Serve Christ in His church and live in the world.

I look forward to meeting you in person in our Welcome Center after one of our services. Let’s Celebrate the Journey.

Senior Pastor

We exist to lead individuals into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ while being embraced by a community of believers.

Life Change Together

We will better experience a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ while being embraced by a community of believers as we…

Connect with Christ daily and other church family members regularly

Commit to Christ and his local church family

Serve in the name of Christ – Inside the church and outside in the community

Connect – Our desire is that individuals in our church family will spend time with Christ daily and others regularly in worship services and smaller groups.

Acts 2:44-47

All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.

Commit – Our desire is that individuals will believe in Jesus Christ personally and belong to our local church family.

Matthew 10:38-39; Mark 8:34-35 and Luke 9:23-24 all record Jesus’ words

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.

Serve – Our desire is that Individuals will unleash their spiritual gifts to unite the church and glorify God in the world.

Matthew 20:26-28

“whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

God says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish…”

(Proverbs 29:18)

Knowing where we are headed is critical in the life of our church.

We know God loves everyone. (John 3:16)

Therefore, as children of God we are commanded to love everyone.

We know that Jesus Christ requires us to be His witnesses. (Acts 1:8)

Therefore, Fellowship of the Rockies has the responsibility to spread the message of God’s love to our city and beyond.

We know God’s intent is “through the church, the manifold wisdom of God would be made known” (Ephesians 3:10) and the church is “God’s household…the pillar and foundation of the truth.” (1 Timothy 3:15)

Therefore, God’s church must gather in community.

We know that 60% of the people in today’s culture will not drive more than 15 minutes to gather in a church community.

Therefore, we must take the church to them.

We envision a day when everyone in the Colorado Springs metropolitan area will have the opportunity to be a part of a Fellowship of the Rockies community of believers that is no more than 15 minutes from where they live. The Church Leadership is committed to establishing a network of mid-sized (400-800) campus communities throughout the Colorado Springs area.

We envision people coming into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ while being embraced by a community of believers. We envision these people forming authentic relationships; we envision people embracing the command to be on mission; we envision people of all generations worshiping in love and unity; we envision leadership making a long-term commitment in these communities of believers.

We envision these Fellowship of the Rockies communities of believers impacting their surrounding communities and the world with the love of God.
