Maybe you are returning to church, coming to church for the very first time, or maybe you just moved to town and need to find a new church home. Whatever your story may be, you probably have a lot of questions before you visit Fellowship of the Rockies.
Here are some common questions we hear about what to expect on a Sunday at Fellowship of the Rockies. If we’ve missed something, let us know! You’re probably not the only one with that question, so asking us will help us help you and future guests.
What is your Sunday schedule?
Every Sunday we currently have four worship services at our two campuses. At our 8th St Campus we meet at 9:00am and 10:30am. At our Fountain Campus we meet at 9:00am and 10:30am. Adult Groups meet on Sundays corresponding with worship times and throughout the week. Visit our Children, Youth, and Connect pages to find the right fit for you & your family.
What do I wear?
You’ll see people in everything from shorts to suits on Sundays. Our concern isn’t what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inside. Come as you are. Jesus accepts us as we are when we come to Him. Why shouldn’t we?
Is there anything for my children?
Of course! We have Sunday options for newborns through high school seniors, including special times of worship designed for each age group:
- FOR Kids is our Children’s Ministry for babies through 5th Grade. We have programming for each age group that corresponds with each worship service which includes worship, crafts, snacks, a Bible lesson, and more. Click here for more info about FOR Kids.
- FOR Youth is our student ministry for 6th-12th Grade. Our 8th Street Campus Youth meet on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, while our Fountain Campus Youth meet on Sunday evening. Click here for more info about FOR Youth.
How will I find a Bible study or Group?
Take a look at our online listing of Adult Groups. You can find the right group that fits you best. On Sunday, stop by the Welcome Center in the main foyer. A Welcome Team member can show you a listing of groups, including a map of where each one is located and when it meets. Our goal is for you to be “embraced by a body of believers” so we’ll go out of our way to help you get connected!
In the church I grew up in, some people had “their” seats. What if I unknowingly sit in somebody’s seat?
Don’t worry about it. Sit wherever you want. Nobody has a claim on a seat. In fact, we’ll even let you save seats for your family and friends!
May I bring my venti, three-pump vanilla, two-pump caramel, non-fat, no foam, extra hot, upside-down, stirred, extra-extra caramel drizzle, caramel machiatto into church?
Yes — but only if you bring one for the rest of us. (Just kidding, of course. Kinda.) Yes, you may bring your drink with you, but why not save your money and get coffee at church? We have free coffee that you can grab on your way into our services.
