Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy, by Beth Moore, Tuesday, 9:00am
Join Beth in a faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society. The prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats. Today, believers in Jesus Christ face many of the same trials. This Old Testament Bible study falls in two parts. The first portion, from Daniel chapters 1-6, deals with Daniel's life as he faced the kind of pressures and temptations Christians encounter today. Daniel models how to develop enduring integrity in an enticing world. The second portion, chapters 7-12, explores thrilling prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Perfect Love, by Lisa Harper
Tuesday, 6:00pm, Sept. – Oct
Pursuing Intimacy with Christ through the Song of Solomon. We all want to be known and loved. Though we can experience deep relationships with others, there will always be a hole in our hearts for the perfect love of Christ. But, what does that really mean? How do we pursue intimacy with an invisible God? What if we do not feel worthy of His love? How can we respond when troubles kidnap our security in Christ? In six powerful sessions, author and Bible teacher Lisa Harper walks women through the Song of Solomon to answer those questions and more. Though romance and marital love are typically associated with this book, Lisa takes a Christ-centered approach to illustrate how this ancient love story is relevant to your life and relationship with Jesus today. As she brings clarity to the text and as you watch real-life stories from other women, you will learn how to embrace God's perfect love and realize your own beauty and worth in God's eyes.
Unstuck, by Francis Chan
Tuesday, 6:00pm, Nov. – Dec
Are you stuck in a rut? It's easy for Christians to find themselves caught up in the life of cluttered schedules, rhythms, and routines dictated by our culture. Many feel stuck in the routine of life—their jobs, relationships, and daily circumstances. They know it's not the life they dreamed of. And they feel stuck in a life yearning for deeper meaning. The Unstuck Bible study has been designed to help guide you out of the ruts and pitfalls that so often ensnare us all. You will be inspired and equipped through the powerful biblical teaching of Mark Batterson, Francis Chan, Lisa Harper and Rich Stearns. Each of these teachers will draw from the lessons of the award-winning short film Journey to Jamaa—a true story about two kids who are forced to search for hope in a broken world.
Where Moms Connect
This is a nine-month faith-based program for moms of all ages and all stages. During our meetings, moms will find caring friends who will share in the laughter and joy as well as the frustration and tears that motherhood can bring—all within a safe, fun, and encouraging environment that’s centered on the Bible. Meets 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month (Sep-May) This year’s theme is “A Year of Encouragement.”
Men’s groups are the best of both worlds. They have great content for study and growth. They also have the relationships that men thrive in. A group could consist of 3 to 5 guys meeting regularly to strengthen each other and be a solid help for one another. The purpose is to grow into a mature follower of Jesus Christ. Group meeting times vary depending on schedules
Men’s Bible Study Group
We will begin our Men’s Bible Study Group on September 12. Topics will be selected by the group after the Equip Series.
