Mom Group's

MOPS

MOPS is a support group for Moms who are seeking fellowship, new friendships, and just need a break from every day life. MOPS stands for "Mothers of Preschoolers" but Moms with children from Birth-Kindergarten are welcomed. Come join us for free breakfast and coffee, laughs, crafts, guest speakers, and just being able to sit down for two hours without a toddler hanging on you while meeting other Moms who know what it takes to be a mom.

We meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from September - May. We meet from 9am-11am at Fellowship of the Rockies in the Fireside Room. Childcare is provided. For more information on our group email or call 719-633-4659.
For more general information about MOPS, go to mops.org.

We hope you will join us for one of our meetings!

Play Dates

We will have one play date every month, generally on the third Thursday of the month from 9:00-11:00.  The location will vary based on the preference of the hosting table, but typical locations include parks, someone’s home, or the church nursery.  The play date location will be announced in the newsletter and on our Facebook pages.

Mom’s Night Out (MNO)

We will offer one Mom’s Night Out event each month.  Every other month (odd numbered months), MNO will be at the church with childcare available for $5/child.  These events will be on different nights of the week in order to try and include as many moms as possible.  We do all kinds of things for our MNO and these events are a great way to connect outside of our regular meetings.  Dates and locations are subject to change so keep an eye out for MNO announcements. MNO events are open to moms outside our membership, so bring your friends!

Where Moms Connect

This ministry reaches moms with kids of all ages and stages, offering encouragement, support, and a place to connect. No matter where a mom is in her faith journey, she’ll find women who care. It’s a faith-based approach to mom-hood and finding the support and encouragement that can come through meeting with other moms and mentor moms. Each session helps women connect with each other, with a topic, and with God, but without homework. Where Moms Connect meets twice monthly at the Fountain campus (7755 C&S Rd) from September through May. Childcare is provided with advance registration.
